Leslie Davis

This is Leslie's second year teaching at RVP.  She is so excited for the new school year.  This past school year she started taking classes to get her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and has learned a lot that is going to help her be a better teacher.  Her classroom is a very positive learning environment where all students feel welcome. Over the summer she went on vacation with her husband.  They visited New York City, Washington D.C., and the Florida Keys.  They had a great time and were able to see a lot of really nice things.

Dawn Haughton

Dawn is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. This will be her second year teaching at Ray Pottorf. In any spare time that she has she likes to relax and watch movies. She is very excited to start this school year. Her classroom is built upon trust and respect. It is a very loving environment where my students set goals and are encouraged to do their best to meet their goals.

Chandra Kellogg

Chandra is very excited about starting a new year at Ray V. Pottorf!  She is looking forward to many of the new programs being implemented this year.  In her spare time, she loves to read classics.  She just finished reading East of Eden by John Steinbeck and loved it!  This year she hopes to instill a love of reading in all of her students.

Jessica Korte

Jessica graduated for Wayne State University in 2007 with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. She moved down to Ft. Myers right after graduating to accept a teaching job at RVP. She is originally from Dearborn, Michigan where her family still resides. Jessica has a younger brother who is an underwater welder and lives in Texas, and 2 younger sisters - one who is a senior in high school and one who is a freshman in high school. While in Michigan, Jessica was the cheerleading coach at Dearborn High School for 5 years and sadly left her job to start a new adventure. Jessica looks forwards to creating a positive classroom environment that allows each student to express themselves in a student centered classroom.

Amber Weidinger

Amber comes to Ft. Myers from Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors Degree in Child Development/Elementary Education and Language Arts. She looks forward to sharing her knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for teaching with her students. Amber's hobbies include reading, traveling and athletics.
