As Principal of Ray V. Pottorf Elementary, I am committed to working with the community, staff, parents and students to make our school a showcase for learning and excellence. To accomplish this goal, our foundation will be the implementation and use of Sterling Quality practices. The Quality concept represents continuous improvement; a constant focus on assessing progress and seeking ways in which to improve. I believe the implementation of Quality practices will enable us to:

  • Focus on student learning and achievement

  • Provide an environment that is conducive to learning

  • Establish a culture that values and promotes teamwork and collaboration

  • Make decisions that are based on data

  • Develop and utilize procedures needed to operate in an effective and efficient manner

Together we will strive to improve. Our motto, "to be better today than I was yesterday," will enable us to reach the goals we set..
